Email Address: Collected solely for account creation, login, and authentication.
Usage Data: We collect anonymized analytics data (e.g., interactions, session duration, error logs, basic device info) via:
Countly (desktop app)
Microsoft Clarity (the main website)
Query Data (managed plan only): If you opt into our managed plan, queries and the necessary portions of your data required to produce answers are temporarily routed through our secure servers and forwarded to an OpenAI-compatible model provider. We process these queries transiently for the purpose of forwarding and do not log or persist their content. Please see sections below for more details.
No personally identifiable information (PII) other than your email is collected unless you choose the managed plan, in which case parts of queries may be handled transiently as described above.
2. How We Use Your Information
Authenticating and managing your user account;
Improving app performance and usability;
Monitoring and debugging via analytics (non-PII).
We do not use your email for marketing purposes.
Managed plan processing: If you choose our managed plan, we process query data only to securely forward it to an OpenAI-compatible model provider to generate responses. We do not use, analyze, or retain the content of those queries for any other purpose.
3. Third-Party Analytics
We use the following services:
Countly – for in-app analytics (cloud);
Microsoft Clarity – for behavior analytics on the website.
These services may collect anonymized technical information but do not receive any other details other than your email from us.
Managed plan and third-party model providers: When using the managed plan, queries are forwarded to third-party AI providers (for example, OpenAI-compatible services) which process the content to generate responses. These providers may have their own processing practices; please review their privacy policies for details.
4. Data Storage & Retention
Your email and login data are stored securely and retained as long as your account is active.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
Managed plan retention: Query data routed through our servers is processed in memory for the sole purpose of forwarding to the AI provider and is not stored or logged by us. We do not retain the content of your queries after they are forwarded.
5. Your Rights (Under GDPR & Global Laws)
Depending on your location, you may:
Request access to your personal data;
Request correction or deletion of your data;
Object to or restrict certain processing activities.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including encryption and access controls. However, no system is completely secure.
Managed plan security: All communications involving query forwarding in the managed plan are transmitted over secure, encrypted connections (e.g., TLS). We implement safeguards to minimize exposure while data is in transient processing on our servers.
7. Children’s Privacy
This App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
